Howdy there guys! This here piece of work is from an RP that i made on 's warrior site. Its of my character Runningcloud, the tortie, and Duskfeather, the tabby. Anyway, this is from a cute little scene between out characters where they are kind of flirting with each other. The premesis of this RP is that 6 children are sucked in to the warrior books between the second and third series. Their presense will change the outcome of the 3rd book series. I mean a lot! We totally messed it over XD
Duskfeather was blinded by Ashfur who sought to use the knowledge of them being human against Squrrielflight but he was run off the territory for blinding Dusky.
Thus, Duskfeather creates a fighting style for blind cats, becomes Jaypaw's mentor and therefore Jaypaw will never be a medicine cat. That and Runningcloud is Lionpaw's mentor seeing as Ashfur is no longer around... Anyway, this is the day they got their apprentices and a year after being sucked in to the warrior books. The title is a bit of a quote from the scene XD Here is the cute little scene by the way! (Sorry for any spelling errors! ^^") -



Runningcloud trotted back in to camp and by the time they were in it the sun was beginning to sink behind the trees. "Looks close to time for the vigil," Runningcloud smiled warmly and turned to Lionpaw, "You two go get something to eat and then get some sleep in the apprentice den." The two toms looked proud at the thought of sleeping in the apprentice den. He chuckled and turned to Duskfeather. "Alright. Let's get something to eat and then sleep." He flicked her nose with his tail and smiled.

Duskfeather nodded and pulled a thrush for herself, and a wood pigeon for Runningcloud. She padded back over to where he was standing and she sat down. She grinned again and started plucking the feathers. "I hope you like feathers. They make nice nest linings." She continued pulling at the feathers and put them in a pile. "By the way, you still didn't tell me how you look. I want to know!" she put on a fake pouty face.

Runningcloud grinned a bit and pulled a few feathers out. "Yeah i suppose thrush feathers and pidgeon feathers feel nice... but none of them feel as good as dusk feathers." He laughed good heartedly, trying to avoid what he looked like again. Yet he knew he would have to tell her some time. "Well..." he started, "I suppose my muscles are larger than they used to be. Im also a deal taller than i used to be. Now the tip of your ear only comes up to my cheek. My shoulders are wider than they used to be." The discription was making him feel a bit embarrased. "Why dont you just feel for yourself?" he chuckled teasingly.

Duskfeather chuckled along with him. "Because it's fun to hear you embarrass yourself!" She exclaimed and began laughing. "Besides, I can't tell what you look like. I can't see colors!" She was still grinning as she took a bite of her thrush.

Runningcloud made a sarcastic smirk, "Oh but you told me that day you lost your sight that you would never forget my black, gold and white fur." He chuckled a bit. "I seriously havent changed that much. Only bigger... and a fatter head i guess." He laughed a bit and finished his pidgeon. "My markings are all in the same place from the last time you saw me... Only a few more scratches on my pelt from the border skirmishes." The warrior shrugged his shoulders softly. "Now would you like me to describe you?"

Duskfeather immediately blushed and ducked her head to take a large bite from the thrush to postpone answering. This would be embarrassing, she could feel it. But how could she say no? She had made him describe himself, it was only fair. She sighed dramatically, "Fine, if you must."

Runningcloud grinned devilishly. "Well..." he started and took an unneeded pause as if trying take in the whole image of her. "You are plump and chubby, you look like a cute little kit!" he chuckled loudly and saw the indignation on Duskfeather's face. "Alright, alright," he laughed and contiued with what she really looked like. "The scars on your eyes have turned from a angry red to a soft pink. It sits well against the bright green eyes that still always twinkle in the twilight. Your body has becomed curved and grown up. You catch more than one tom's glance when your sway your hips full of sass. Your mouth quirks up endearingly making all our hearts flutter. Your thin tail is stripped in all the right places. All in all, you look beautiful." he smiled warmly with a heart full of pride and respect for her. His cheeks flushed a dark red and he was glad that she couldnt see his face right now.

"I...uh..." Duskfeather was blushing so hard that she was sure the fur on her cheeks had turned pink. "um...Thank you." She looked as shy as she had when she had first come to ThunderClan, a human lost among cats. She didn't really believe that she looked as Runningcloud had described her, but it was still nice of him. Then she chuckled, "I bet you're the only tom who still turns to look at me as I go by, with me being blind."

Runningcloud chuckled to himself as he spoke again, "Acctually, now that you are blind other toms dont mind turning to look at you as much as they want now. Its easier to oogle you when you cant tell who is looking at you."
